Czech Breweries

Brewing has a long tradition in a Bohemia. Very first signs of brewing are settled deep in middle ages but current Breweries were found in 19th century. There is a few Breweries well known all around the world as Pilsner Urquell, Budweiser Budvar, KruA?ovice and Staropramen. On the other side there is a lot of small local breweries or Brewhouses which made traditional beers with using traditional procedures.

Staropramen Brewery – Prague

The most famous brewery in Prague offers to visitors a hour long tour with tasting. You will see all the procedures of brewing from beginning to the end in historical buildings of brewery. English or German speaking guides will introduce you to history of brewery and explain you all procedures and technology.

Pilsner Urquell – Plzen

A town located 90km west form Prague is place where was found the most famous czech brewery – Pilsner Urquell. A lager of pilsner type is there maid since

1842 with use of similar procedures and ingredients. In a brewery is for you prepared tour on a important places like brewhouse, modern packing plant, hall of fame, Pilsner Urquell exhibition and cellar with degustation of beer. KruA?ovice Brewery

One of the oldest breweries in the Czech republic was found in 1581 in a village KruA?ovice 50km far from Prague. In hour and half tour youA?ll see the factory units and old fascilities of Brewery. Tasting is off course included in tour. Brewery tours are in Czech, English, German, Russian and French.
